37-year-old man turns himself in on sex charge

************************* Yesterday evening at approximately 7:15 p.m., a male attended at the City Police station and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

The accused, was a 37-year-old male was wanted for harassment and sexual assault.

It is alleged that on Thursday, March 5, the accused attended at the residence of his common-law partner and forced her to have intercourse with him.

It is further alleged that on March 9 the accused harassed the victim by calling her numerous times while she was at a relative’s residence.

The accused is charged with one count of harassment and one count of sexual assault.
