OPP advise that the North Highway has re-opened as of 3:30 a.m.

************************* Original advisory - 10:14 p.m.

The Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following road closure.

Location: Highway 17 from Havilland Shores (Sault Ste. Marie) to Wawa.

Detachment area: Sault Ste. Marie & Superior East detachments

Time of road closure: 9:50 p.m.

Reason for the road closure: poor visibility due to weather

Detour: none

Estimated duration of road closure: unknown

Time road reopened: will advise
