************************* The Ministry of Natural Resources wishes to advise that water levels on Ranger Lake continued to drop overnight but remain high.

The bridge over the Garden River on Hwy 556 remains closed and is being monitored by the Ministry of Transportation.

Hwy 556 is open to the bridge from both Searchmont and Hwy 129, however there is no alternate route around the bridge at this time.

There have been no reports of any flooding of dwellings on Ranger Lake, Garden River and Garden Lake.

At this point in time we do not anticipate any impacts to dwellings downstream including Garden Lake.

MNR are working with OPP and MTO and continue to monitor the water levels at Ranger Lake and will keep the public informed as new information becomes available.
