$300 taken from purse. Police think it was Elliot

************************** Theft of $300

Twenty-seven-year-old Elliot Michael Southwind of no fixed address has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that early on the morning of the 25th of June, the accused was at a residence in the east end of town when he stole $300 from the purse [not exactly as illustrated] of a female known to him.

He left the area and returned later.

Officers had been called and the accused was arrested and charged.

He is scheduled to attend court on the 28th of July.
