Sunday drives seem to be a popular summertime activity for many Saultites.

We saw swimmers beating the heat at Gros Cap, and young fishermen catching some sunshine only moments before the rain hit on St. Joe's Island.

Before we landed in Richard's Landing to re-energize at the Wharf, we stopped to talk to a field of friendly cows who adored having their photographs taken and even smiled for the camera. (See gallery photos 13-17).

In Richard's Landing, we enjoyed a quaint history lesson from a SooToday.com friend who told us about a house down the street that was pulled to the island across the ice by a team of horses in the 1930s. (See Gallery photo 24).

While driving home, we were looking up - to take some neat photos of the changing summer sky outside our window.

Stay parked and check out our photo gallery below!
