17-year-old charged in relation to brewery fire

Update to fire

Bay Street has been opened to traffic; however Spring Street between Foster Drive and Bay Street remains closed.

Detectives from Investigation Services are continuing their investigation into the fire.

An investigator from the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office will be attending to assist with the investigation.

Damage to the building is described as extensive.

Late last evening, investigators charged a 17-year-old female with one count of arson and one count of breach of probation. 

She will appear in court on March 12, 2013.
