The road has now been re-opened to the public.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is advising the public that Wellington Street West will be closed from North Street to John Street until further notice.

The purpose of this road closure is to complete an investigation into an incident that occurred earlier in the day.

The public will be advised as soon as the investigation has been completed.
