Both lanes on Hwy 17 between Syrette Lake Road and Belleau Lake Road are now open.

GARDEN RIVER FIST NATION, ON – OPP caution motorists that Highway 17 East between Syrette Lake Road and Belleau Lake is down to one lane in the westbound direction.

There is dense fog in the area and drivers are advised to slow down and drive with caution.

A collision between a moose and a tractor trailer has caused the lane closure in order to remove the tractor trailer.

There were no injuries reported to the driver or passenger of the transport unit that was loaded with furniture.
