Effective 10:30 p.m. the highway has been reopened to traffic in both directions.

7:44 p.m. update

Effective 7:30 p.m. the highway now has one lane open.

********************** Original release - 5:02 p.m.

The OPP (Sudbury) would like to advise the motoring public that as a result of a motor vehicle collision involving two tractor trailers, Highway 69 just north of the French River bridge is closed until further notice.

There are no detours at this time.

Further information regarding the accident will be released when it becomes available.
