************************* Male to appear in bail court

At 2 a.m. today, members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 41-year-old male on charges of sexual assault.

It is alleged that last night at approximately 10:30 p.m., the accused sexually assaulted a female victim by grabbing her, attempted to kiss her, and then grabbing her in the groin area.

The victim got away from the accused and called police.

The victim was not injured and did not require medical attention.

It is further alleged that at the time of this offence the accused was on probation.

Todd Roland, age 41, of no fixed address is charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of breach of probation.

************************* Break and enter A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 600 block of McNabb Street. Thieves stole a silver 2001 Honda Accord, two televisions, personal papers and cash.

************************* Theft

Jewellery was reported stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of MacDonald Avenue.
