SooToday cameras were there as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stopped by PUC headquarters to speak on the importance of clean energy and transitioning to greener energy systems as part of Canada's effort to combat climate change. He also visited with Saultites at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Trudeau's visit coincided with the official launch of PUC's Sault Smart Grid system, which promises to bring increased reliability, sustainability and efficiency to the region's electricity distribution.
