West Side Story runs until February 27 at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre

Shot In The Dark Productions’ presentation of West Side Story opens this evening with a gala performance in support of the Welcome Friend Association and its Rainbow Camp for LGBTQ youth.

Staged at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre - where there’s actually no stage at all - co-directors Sue Barber and Anthony Aceti have used a minimal yet versatile set design, granting the timeless story and engaging performances their rightful spot in the limelight.

Starring Stephen Gagnon-Ruscio as Tony, Leo Moore as Riff, Dee Chomyn as Maria, and Dre Orazietti as Bernardo, West Side Story runs through to February 27.

Tickets are available at the door or online here.
