You Say Party! We Say Die! are one of an ever growing list of idiosyncratic Canadian artists signed with Paper Bag Records and they're coming to the Sault.

Like labelmates Tokyo Police Club, the FemBots and Magneta Lane, YSP! WSD! have a sound you either love or hate and it all but defies definition.

With a sound so new that it encompasses multiple genres, some definite retro influences such as the B-52s and Siouxsie and the Banshees can be detected.

Often tagged as disco-punk and almost always compared to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, YSP! WSD! has been relentlessly touring Canada, the United States, Europe and the UK since the release of their 2004 EP Dansk Wad refining their sound and priming them as the band to look out for.

Their first full-length 2005 album Hit The Floor! earned them notice and accolades around the globe, providing them the opportunity to share the stage with greats like Humanzi, The Blood Brothers and Pretty Girls Make Graves.

March 20, 2007 marks the official release of their much-anticipated sophomore album Lose All Time.

As stated on their website: "Time and circumstance have since streamlined You Say Party! We Say Die! into its reigning, laser-guided incarnation, an anthemic, stomping, post-everything insistence that if you are doing what you really love then life is like a party. Don't Stop. Do it till it kills you."

You Say Party! We Say Die! will be headlining an all-ages show at the Canadian Night Club Sunday, March 11.

Tickets for this exciting event are $6 and doors open at 6:30.

I say GO!
