Thursday, July 28
    •    The tallship Nao Trinidad (a replica of Magellan’s flagship) will be docked in Sault Ste. Marie for public tours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. For ticket information, please click here
    •    Thessalon Community Days will host a car show in downtown Thessalon from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will include live music from JC and a cake cutting ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of Thessalon Horticulture.
    •    The City of Sault Ste. Marie Summer Concert Series presents the 40 Creek Band at the Bondar Pavilion from 7 to 9 p.m.

Friday, July 29
    •    Thessalon Community Days will host a Family Ball Tournament throughout the weekend starting Friday, as well as a sand castle contest and free ice cream for kids at Lakeside Park from 2 to 4 p.m. There will also be live music, vendors and fireworks at the Marina starting at 6 p.m.

    •    The Richards Landing Community Night begins at the Centennial Grounds at 7 p.m. and includes a parade, games, food and beverages. The Boat Parade of Lights begins at 8:30 p.m. and includes food and beverages, and live entertainment from L!ME.
    •    Dryer Fire hosts TWINTWA, Forest Her Dress and Juliana Regan at Big Lake Cabin (765 Queen St. E.) starting at 7 p.m.
    •    Johnny and the Revelators will play the Water Tower Pub (360 Great Northern Rd.) starting at 8 p.m.

Saturday, July 30
    •    The Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association will host an in-person gathering, starting Saturday with a sunrise ceremony at the arbour located at Algoma University. The day’s events include an opening prayer and song from the Healing Lodge Singers, an update on the Shingwauk site search, a number of self-guided activities and survivor presentations.     •    The Thessalon Community Days Parade begins on Main Street at 1 p.m. A variety of activities will be hosted at Peace Park following the parade, including bouncy castles, vendors, a beer garden and more. The dance at at the arena begins at 9 p.m.
    •    Leslie Cook performs at the Moose Lodge (543 Trunk Rd.) from 2 to 5 p.m.
    •    Soundcheck performs at the Prince Township Pavilion from 8 p.m. to midnight
    •    Handsome Sandwich plays Shooters Lounge (68 Dennis St.) starting at 8 p.m.
    •    Junk, Young Stitch and Kryple perform at Soo Blaster (354 Queen St. E.) with guests NineLivez and Jordancoc, and local sets from Strangers, Nadj, OhZee, Killabeatz, Sawbe, Rick - E and Bold Noize. Monday, Aug. 1

Tuesday, Aug. 2
    •    Sault College Fitness Centre will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Guests can take part in a free workout or group fitness class, and be entered into a draw for a free month’s membership.
    •    The City of Sault Ste. Marie Summer Concert Series presents Westridge at the Bondar Pavilion from 7 to 9 p.m.
