Wawa native brings comedy show to the Sault

Pete Zedlacher will hit the Soo Blaster stage later this month

Northern Ontario comedian Pete Zedlacher is scheduled to perform at Soo Blaster on Saturday, Nov. 27.

A news release issued today states that the award-winning Wawa native now resides in Calgary and draws on his working class roots for his stand-up material.

Northern Ontario’s own Pete Zedlacher is one of Canada’s finest and most recognizable stand-up comedians. The 20+ year veteran of the comedy scene proudly hails from Wawa, a small mining town in northern Ontario. Pete draws heavily from his Canadian working-class roots.

Now based in Calgary, Zedlacher has a Canadian Comedy Award, four Canadian Comedy Award nominations and two Gemini nominations to his credit. Most recently, Pete won the international comedy competition and was crowned Sirius XM’s Top Comic.

Zedlacher has garnered rave reviews across the country from coast to coast to coast, every province, every territory, 15 US states and 19 countries worldwide. Catch him on his only Sault Ste. Marie stop this year.

Opening acts are to be announced but the show is in good hands as MC’d by Kris Bonaparte. Delicious food and drink are available from Soo Blaster’s full menu.
