Think you can give Alastair Sim a run for his money as Ebenezer Scrooge? Sim, who played Scrooge in the classic 1951 version of "A Christmas Carol", sets the bar pretty high, but the Sault Theatre Workshop is giving you your chance to show your acting abilities at their open auditions this Saturday, October 2nd, starting at 2:00 pm.

The good folks at the Sault Theatre Workshop, who have been producing award-winning community theatre for over 50 years, are looking for about 30 individuals, including adult males and females, teens and approximately 12 children.

"A Christmas Carol" will be performed from December 8-11, 2004.

Auditions will be taking place at the "cozy" and "intimate" studio theatre located at 121 Pittsburg Avenue (on the corner of Pittsburg and McAllan). For more information, contact Doug at (705) 256-6317.
