VIDEO: Father, daughter duo dedicate song to those struggling through isolation

With a new year and another lockdown comes a new video submission from Dustin Jones and his daughter Jett.

Throughout 2020 and 2021, the duo has shared a number of musical performances with the public as way to keep spirits up, including this country classic as well as Jett's first original composition inspired by the ongoing pandemic.

This time, the Joneses collaborate on a cover of The Happy Fits song, She Wants Me (To Be Loved).

"2022, back In isolation. When the anxiety kicks in, this is our medicine," Dustin wrote on social media when he first shared the video.

"Jett introduced me to this song and I dig it," he explained. "We want to dedicate this one to all those out there who are struggling with mental health issues because of this insanity.

"I’m done saying we will get through this, but I do wish everyone peace and happiness wherever you can find it."
