TLN Telelatino Network announces program highlights

Acclaimed drama series The Sopranos continues

(Toronto, Canada) Tuesday, September 4, 2006 – TLN Telelatino announced today an exciting line-up of new series, specials and returning favourites as part of its English, Italian and Spanish programming for the 2006/2007 broadcast schedule.

With a full 25 percent of its programming schedule filled with English language programs, TLN's motto for the new season is "Speak English, Live Latino."

Program highlights for this new season include the return of the award-winning television series, The Sopranos, the highly acclaimed My Voyage to Italy, Martin Scorsese’s documentary series journey through Italian movie history, the anticipated return of European Soccer, sizzling new telenovelas and star-studded music specials such as the Latin Grammy Awards.

"We are setting a standard for diversity in television with a multi-lingual, multi-generational and inclusive approach to our programming," said TLN Telelatino President Aldo Di Felice. "With the addition of top English programming such as The Sopranos, we are establishing our place as the destination station for viewers who may not speak our languages but have an appetite for Italian- and Spanish-themed programming."
