Rock on the road with new album 'Meatlantis' and 21-city concert tour

A second season of a hit television series on The Detour on Teletoon, and a new album Meatlantis are reason to celebrate, so rock band Sons of Butcher (Ricky Butcher, Sol Butcher and Doug Borski) are taking their searing metal show on the road with their first national concert tour: Tourin' the Canada.

Vegetarians be warned, beginning October 23 in Halifax and finishing December 2 in London, Ontario Sons of Butcher [SOB] will be serving up fans and the curious from coast to coast hits like F*** the S***, In Through The Out Hole and I Hate Girlfriends and a performance that consists of lewd dancing, guitar, vocal heroics, and plenty of cold cuts.

Audiences at the Quebec City and Toronto concerts will be part of the show which is being filmed as part of a two hour Tourin' the Canada special that will be aired in 2007.

Cruce opens for Sons of Butcher in Halifax, St. John, Fredericton, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City.

The Great Orbax opens in Sault Ste Marie, Regina, Edmonton, Calgary, Banff, Abbottsford, Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Red Deer, Winnipeg, Hamilton and London.

And in Toronto both Cruce and The Great Orbax will play with Sons Of Butcher.

Freshly squeezed from the womb of the Supreme Rock God, Sons of Butcher is a double-edged sword.

One edge cuts you to the bone with the hilarious animated series Sons of Butcher airing Friday nights at 9:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. on Teletoon, Canada's most-watched specialty cable channel.

The other edge finishes the job with a live band that breathes fire, spandex and pepperettes.

That's right.

Not only is Sons of Butcher a cartoon that regularly gives behemoth South Park a run for its money in ratings, its a live rock n' roll show as well.

Ricky Butcher (vox/guitar/orgasms), Sol Butcher (guitar/vox/hugs) and Doug Borski (bass/vox/mop) are a fine-tuned machine on stage, throwing out slab after slab of raw, life-changing rock.
