~ SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2015 ~

Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall will screen How The Grinch Stole Christmas at 11 a.m.

Crossroads performs at the Elks Hall from 2 to 6 p.m.

Stu Waite and Ron Schryer perform at Misty’s 50s, 658 Second Line West. Show time is 4 p.m.

Moonshadow plays the New American Pub, 602 Bay St., starting at 6 p.m.

The Sault Theatre Workshop presents The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby directed by Harry Houston at the Workshop Studio, 121 Pittsburg Ave. Curtain time is 8 p.m.

Dance to the sounds of Don Discher and Lyn at the Royal Canadian Legion, 96 Great Northern Rd. starting at 8 p.m.

The Chamber Singers of Algoma present Handel’s Messiah at Central United Church at 8 p.m.

A presentation of Billy and Elton: The Legacy at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre will support Children’s Comfort at ARCH Hospice. The performance features Michael Sicoly and Mick Della Vee. The show begins at 8 p.m.

Blues for Food at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., starts at 9 p.m. and features performances from the Sault’s best blues artists. Admission is by donation of non-perishable food items or cash donation to support the Soup Kitchen Community Centre.

Coverfly plays the OLG Charity Casino from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Summer Thunder plays the Esquire Club, 103 Second Line West, from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Staring at the Sun, a tribute to U2, performs at the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East. Music starts at 10:30 p.m.

The Pixo Control celebrates the release of its debut album at Loplops Gallery and Lounge, 651 Queen St. East. Shows times are 2 p.m. (all ages) and 10 p.m. (19+). Musical guests include Gnaeus and Caroline Divine.
