~ SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2015 ~

Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall will screen Arthur Christmas at 11 a.m.

Roxy's Lakeside Grill located in Havilland Bay at 25 Havilland Shores Drive will host Rusty McCarthy from 1 to 4 p.m.

Midway plays the New American Pub, 602 Bay St., starting at 6 p.m.

SteelTown Silver Band Christmas Concert, The Spirit of Christmas, features special guests the Algoma Festival Choir at Central United Church, 160 Spring St. at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, children 12 and under admitted free.

The Musical Comedy Guild presents Mary Poppins at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre. Curtain time is 2 p.m.

Over the Rainbow Children’s Entertainment presents Peg and the Yeti at 2 p.m. at the Korah Collegiate Auditorium.

The Richards Landing Events Committee presents Trevor Tchir in concert at the Old Town Hall at 7 p.m.


Cody McMillan plays the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., starting at 9 p.m.

Crossroads plays the OLG Charity Casino from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Midlife Crysis plays the Esquire Club, 103 Second Line West, from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Mike Haggith and the Din performs at the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East, with Long Shot and Stereo North. Music starts at 10 p.m.

Mourning Wood performs at Rednecks Saloon, 304 Albert St. West, starting at 10 p.m.

The Boothill Crooners play Loplops, 651 Queen St. East. Show time is 10 p.m.

~ SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2015 ~

The 4th annual Toystock event happens at Northern Grand Gardens from noon to 10 p.m. Participating bands include Boc Tu Roc Students, The Algo Rythms, Domina, Mojo, Mourning Wood, Havadder, Under the Influence, The Rude-Offs, Gneaus and Bone Yard. Admission is by donation of a new or slightly used toy, a non-perishable food item, or a monetary donation. All proceeds and items go to support Christmas Cheer.
