The first annual Muzicare Riverfest is set to take place at 1761 Queen Street East on Sunday, August 16.

Live performances include those from the Swamp Cats, Algo Rhythms, Crossroad and Redline.

Long-overdue reunion sets from The Rollons and Old Hat will headline the music event which runs from 1 to 6 p.m.

Visitors will be treated to a premiere screening of a music video for Chris Johns' Who Knew, and food and refreshments will be available for purchase.

In conjunction with Muzicare Riverfest, Severin will host a garage sale on both Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 starting at 9 a.m.

Free to attend and open to the public, all proceeds from the garage sale and concession sales will go to support the Strathclair Dog Park.

Public parking is available on Gravelle Street, Garden Avenue, or the western side of the Iron Club parking lot located across from the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club.

With 25 years experience in a variety of mediums, Muzicare Productions has worked with a number of indie artists, including Chris Johns, James Errington, Steve Bedford, Tyrone Souliere, Stolen Owners, Sleep Six, Aidan D'aoust and many others.
