The hottest ticket in the North is on sale today!

SUDBURY - Music and Film in Motion (MFM) would like to extend an invitation to one and all to enjoy the sights and sounds of some amazing homegrown talent at this year’s Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards Conference.

All tickets are on sale starting today at the Music and Film in Motion office or online at thinknorth.ca.

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we will have a guest list at all Conference events which all ticket buyers names will be added to when a purchase is made.

This means there will be no physical tickets other than the Conference passes.

On April 26, MFM will host the ninth annual Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards Ceremony, in the Great Hall at Laurentian University.

The award ceremony will recognize the efforts and showcase the talent of Northern Ontario’s music and film industries by featuring award presentations, live performances and movie clips.

The grassroots industry conference will take place from April 26 to April 28 at the Quality Inn in Sudbury.

The goal of this conference will be to create practical skills development and networking opportunities for all participants.

The event will include a networking lounge for participants and industry guests to interact with one another, as well as skills development programming such as panel discussions.

This grassroots industry conference is MFM’s key skills development activity, allowing MFM to make the most effective use of its resources and industry connections.

There will also be an official talent showcase.

This year, the showcase will consist of two separate programs, a music showcase at the Townehouse Tavern, and a film showcase at Rainbow Cinemas, which will both take place on the evening of April 27.

These events will highlight the music and films from this year’s official awards nominees, enabling us to turn the spotlight firmly on these talented groups and individuals.

For conference panels and showcases, attendance is limited to available seating.

Ticket possession does not guarantee entrance, so please check the schedule and arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are non-refundable.

For more information regarding ticketing, please contact MFM at 674-9954, toll free at 1-866-674-9954 or e-mail [email protected]

Music and Film in Motion is a non-profit organization whose mandate is to foster and promote the development of the music and film industries in Northern Ontario.
