Senior Dinner Dance at the Royal Canadian Legion, 96 Great Northern Road. Cocktails at 6 pm, followed by dinner at 7 pm, with the dance to follow. Music provided by The Happy Days Band. Tickets are $15 and are available at the Legion beginning Monday February 12.

World Visions 30 Hour Famine hosted by students from the Bethany Baptist youth group from Friday, February 23rd - Saturday, February 24th. Teenagers from Thessalon to Goulais will be fasting in order to raise support for impoverished people around the world. Gates and Grill @ Searchmont Resort: Prepare to beat your personal best time or challenge your neighbors to a little friendly competition for bragging rights and some great prizes. Timed runs will be followed by dining at its finest with menu prepared by Beth Boskovitch of Thirteen and an awards ceremony to crown our new champions.
