Lake Superior State University’s Black Box Ensemble presents work of poet Laureate David Lee. Show will be in the LSSU Art’s Center’s Black Box Theatre at 7pm. General admission is $10 and $5 for students with ID. Tickets will be available at the door. Can't make it on Friday, no worries, there will be another show, Saturday Novemeber 4th, from 7-9pm.

Hilton Beach Christmas Craft Show from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission $1, under 12 free at the Hilton Beach Community Hall, St Joe's Island.

The Annual Northern Ontario Country Music Awards will be held at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre at 7pm with a social to follow at the Best Western Great Northern. Tickets are available at the Northern Ontario Country Music Hall of Fame located in the Best Western every night from 6-9 pm or by calling 257-9650.

Evening in the Summer Kitchen See Friday

The Algoma Fall Festival Presents Nigredo Hotel at the Wellington Square Mall. Tickets for this event are $50 +GST for adults. There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres served at 7pm for both audiences, catered by Rosetta Sicoly of a Thymely Manner.

Sons of Butcher w/The Great Orbax@ The Speakeasy tonight, doors open at 9pm, show starts at 10pm, $5 cover at the door. Licensed all ages event.

Carrie Catherine all the way from Saskatoon, plays Loplops, 651 Queen St.E, tonight. This free show will start around 9:30pm.

Let it Snow Christmas Tea & Bazaar will be held from 1-4pm at the First United Presbyterian Church, in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. They will have a raffle table, bake sale and more.

"Let's do Brunch" Fashion Show and Treasure Chest presented by The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation at Algoma's Waer Tower Inn at 1:00pm. Tickets for this event are $25 and include the purchase of your key to the treasure chest full of prizes from local merchants and retailers. Fashions for the event are provided by Creations and will be modelled by local health care professionals. For tickets call 253-4590.

Faustwork - Mask Theatre at the Holiday Inn Waterfront. Refreshments for children to follow the event. Tickets for this event are $20+GST for adults, and $10 +GST for children 14 and under.
