Goulais River Community Days Weekend starts Presented by The Goulais River Recreation Committee. Events take place at Captain Tilly Park. Come and enjoy this family event! Talent shows, kids events, and entertainment throughout the day! Food, fun, beer tent and baseball games! Small admission fee.

Open Air Market Hilton Beach, St Joe's Island starting @ 7:30am. A weekly country market held under the large yellow tent beside the Hilton Library. Fresh fruits and vegatables, freshly baked cookies and other baking, maple syrup products, as well as work by local artisans. Email for more info [email protected]

SSM Museum @ 690 Queen Street East. 100th Anniversary of the "Old Post Office" featuring original drawings, architechtural models, photos, artifacts & historic facts. Also a glimpse of life in our city at the turn of the last century.

LopLops hosts The Wild Turkeys Sheldon Jaaskelainen (The Goulais River Rats) is back and this time he is teaming up with another brother Byron Jaaskelainen to bring you some good old fashioned country bluegrass. This brand new band has only played a few gigs around town but have quickly developed a huge fan base.

Wrestling 1 NIGHT ONLY! FRIDAY JULY 7 @ Royal Canadian Legion 7pm belltime 7-9 matches 5 title fights.
$8 in advance 10$ at the door.

5th Annual Ride For The Cure Motorcycle rally, parade, and breast cancer awareness RIDE in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Great bikes, great people, great prizes, great fun... Registration by donation - please give generously. Day of RIDE registraion from 9 - 11 am at the City Hall north parking lot. RIDE parade leaves at 11 am. Searchmont Community Parade starts @ Noon

FOCAS 6th Annual Tour of Gardens will be from Noon until 4pm Tickets are only $12 and include a rain or shine self-guided tour. Featuring Jean Shrouds at 11515 S. Riverside Drive, Irene Hungerford at 3139 S. Seymour Street, Jeanne Smith at 1605 W. 8th and Althea Srtickland at 1112 Augusta Street. Tickets are available at The Mole Hole, Soo Michigan.

Take a ride to Prince Township Museum which includes a 19th Century log house, a one-room classroom built in 1937, a church built by local farmers in 1885 and more. This year should be no diffferent as she is bringing both Catherine & Lindsay out as well as Chris Belsito and a few other local musicians.
