Taking in the moonlight magic for ARCH (6 photos)

Annual fundraiser took place Saturday at Kinsmen Park

Here's where it was and when:

The Hiawatha Moonlight Fall Walk took place Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in Hiawatha Kinsmen Park.

Here's who put it on:

The Kinsmen club and ARCH Hospice host the event with the Kinsmen club donating their facilities, making sure the trails are safe, setting up lights and signs.

Here’s why you should have gone:

The hike offers a unique way to experience the beauty of fall by the moonlight. The first 100 people receive handcrafted bowls donated by the Sault Potters Guild. Walkers also get to enjoy delicious soup donated by Chummy's Grill, Grand Gardens, Feed Your Soul Cafe, Shabby Motley and Paesanos.

You'll also want to know this:

It raises approximately $5,000 for ARCH Hospice every year and attracts between 170 - 200 people. There are both 2km and 5km trails.
