NEWS RELEASE

CHURCHMOUSE PLAYERS

****************************
A play for all ages, Another Son Of Adam, presented on April 27, 2013 at St. Luke's Cathedral

On Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., the Churchmouse Players at St. Luke’s Cathedral will present Another Son Of Adam

This play was written to encourage our young people to read, and was specifically created for this particular group of children.

It is based on Prince Caspian, The Return to Narnia by C.S. Lewis.

These performances will be the only opportunity to see this particular version of a much-loved story.

Advance tickets are $10 adult, $8 senior/student, and $2 children, and are available from the Cathedral Office, 160 Brock Street, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door for $12, $10, and $3.

Guest players include Fawna Andrews as Puddleglum the Marshwiggle as our narrator; St. Luke’s  Dean, The Very Reverend James McShane, as Dr. Cornelius; Alasdair Bennett as Aslan and King Miraz; and Paige Eklund as The Werewolf and Sopespian.

The children from the very successful Lucy Didn't Lie presented in 2011, based on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, are returning in their many roles and we have new members joining us in Narnia for the first time.

The play is co-directed by Bev Barber and Cathy Courtney, and our music director is Laura Strum.

We even have a guest mystery player in a surprising cameo role.

Profits will go to charities chosen by our children.

The charities are: Free the Children, Leprosy Foundation of Canada, and locally St. Vincent's Place.

If you like swashbuckling, saucy mice, talking badgers and dancing trees - this is the play for you!
