SAULT STE. MARIE, MI - Bayliss Public Library will host its next Superior Poetry Café on Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m.

The featured poet will be Sault resident, Renee Stauffer Dreiling.

She was born in Muskegon and raised in Central Lake, Michigan.

For eight years, she served in the U.S. Air Force.

She earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Returning to Michigan, she settled in Sault Ste. Marie, where she loves the quality of life and the people she has met.

Renee has been actively involved with various Superior District Library groups at Bayliss Library and at Pickford Community Library.

Renee Dreiling recently published her first chapbook, Clichés on the Rocks with a Twist, which she looks forward to sharing with the public.

Everyone is invited to bring their poetry, other writing, stories, and music to perform at the open mic following her reading.

The Friends of the Library will provide refreshments.
