The 2004 season of the Summer Playhouse is coming to an end this week.

Wendy Hamilton and company are presenting a special showing of “Outside”, by Sault-born playwright Neil Fleming after which patrons will have an opportunity to meet the playwright at a reception on Wed, Aug 25. Doors open 8:50 p.m.

Thursday’s lunch theatre will feature the final performance of the very successful Packet-In, a play about the perils and pitfalls of giving up smoking. Doors open at 11:50 a.m. Bring your lunch.

The evening presentation for Thursday is One Night Gem, with Carol Colombo’s as Susan, the Vicar’s wife and also featuring Tova Arbus on violin. Doors open at 8:50 p.m.

Friday brings us the absolute last chance to see the final episode of the original soap opera Rubies. This is a lunch theatre production so doors open at 11:50 and patrons are invited to bring their lunch.

The final 2004 performance by Summer Playhouse will be a lunch theatre presentation of Outside on Sat., Aug. 28. Season finale! Doors open at 11:50.
