From now until the first week of March, over 200 framed original cels from the single frame cartoons are hanging at Loplop Lounge and Gallery.

Adamson (shown) opened the display on January 1 and plans to finish it off with a book launch.

Ever one to do things differently, Adamson has decided to have a party at the end of his show instead of the beginning and to launch his new book at that party on March 4.

At the party, he hopes to sell a few copies of his latest book which will include a some comics from as long ago as 1988 but mostly recent work, he said.

"I'm independently publishing the book on a limited first run and plan to also use it as a portfolio to try to syndicate the comics," said Adamson. "If it really catches on, I may do another printing."

This won't be the first time Stupid Dummy Heds has tasted the ink of mass media, either.

The ever-ironic portrayal of stupidly-obvious situations was a popular feature in some university news papers in Southern Ontario and a now-defunct magazine, said Adamson.

He has also independantly published five other books which have all sold out.

Not even Adamson's mother has a complete collection, he said.

What's next?
