With his plank of wood in tow, Stompin' Tom Connors stormed the stage of the Heritage Festival busting into his ode to P.E.I. with Bud the Spud Sunday night.

Stompin' Tom wrapped up a three day bender of concerts in North Bay that included Our Lady of Peace on Friday and Collective Soul on Saturday.

Wearing his signature big black cowboy hat, Stompin' Tom ignited the gigantic crowd by asking if everyone was having a good time.

The crowd roared and Stompin' Tom answered them back with, "Well why don't you get me drunk and take me home. Then we'll really have a good time."

This set the tone for the rest of the concert.

Chatting with the crowd and telling jokes in between songs, Stompin' Tom gave the concert an intimate feeling.

After playing 13 songs Stompin' Tom thanked the audience and said he had a treat for everyone.

He went on to say he had recently wrote a new song on the road and he was going to play it for the Heritage Festival crowd for the first time ever.

The crowd went insane then waited silently in anticipation for the new song.

From there he jumped into Sudbury Saturday Night.

The on-lookers erupted in laughter then quickly stomped and clapped along with the infamous song.

North Bay was the last stop on Stompin' Tom's 17 show tour this summer.
