Singer from the MET performs in Sault Ste. Marie

Algoma Conservatory of Music presents Sarah Gartshore, soprano and Jonathan Beyer, baritone on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Room at the Algoma Conservatory, 75 Huron Street.

This will be a stunning evening of music with soprano, Sarah Gartshore, the Algoma Conservatory’s outstanding new vocal instructor, and guest baritone Jonathan Beyer from the MET. 

Sarah has had an extensive career including performances at the Ravina Festival, Santa Fe Opera, American Opera Group, and Chamber Opera Chicago. 

Jonathan’s impressive career includes the Metropolitan Opera, Munich Philharmonic, Dallas Opera, Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony and Boston Lyric Opera.

This is part of a new series of events presented by the Algoma Conservatory of Music in the Recital Room at the Conservatory’s historic new facility at 75 Huron. 

For these events concert goers can enjoy a dessert prior to the concert and refreshments at a reception with the artist following the event. 

The Recital Room has a beautiful grand piano and excellent acoustics. 

Building tours are also available at the events.

Tickets

Tickets must be reserved in advance either by calling or by email and seating is limited.

They can be paid at the door. 

The cost is $25 per person.
