This Saturday, the Algoma Conservatory of Music is pleased to present the Chiara String Quartet in concert at The Machine Shop. Tickets are $35 each, or $15 for those aged 35 and younger, and may be purchased at the door or the Community Box Office located in the Station Mall. The Chiara String Quartet performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.

One of North America's finest quartets, The Chiara String Quartet is currently on their final tour before retirement. The quartet is known for performing its repertoire entirely from memory and for its "highly virtuosic, edge-of-the-seat playing.” (Boston Globe)

It is an astounding program featuring three of the greatest quartets in the repertoire: Mendelssohn - A minor, op. 13;  Bartok No. 4 and Beethoven op. 132. Sit back in the comfort and superb acoustics of the Machine Shop and enjoy some of the greatest music ever written performed by these internationally acclaimed artists.
