Directed by Sue Barber and Anthony Aceti, Shot In The Dark Productions presents The Who’s Tommy at the Machine Shop at Mill Square on November 4, 5, 7 and 8.

That’s Chester provides the musical backdrop as Gavin Smith appears young Tommy and Steven Hewgill takes on the role of the troubled adult Tommy.

Captain and Mrs. Walker are played by Dre Orazietti and Lynne Vallee, Richard Karhu steps into the role of Uncle Ernie, Jeannine Jefferson plays the Acid Queen, and Greg Simpson does double duty as the Narrator and cousin Kevin.

To kick off the production, Shot In The Dark has partnered with the local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association to host an opening night gala reception on Wednesday, November 4 at 6 p.m.

Gala tickets are $60 each and include food and refreshments, admission to the performance and a $20 tax receipt.

Tickets for all performances may be purchased at the Community Box Office in the Station Mall.
