The Sault Theatre Workshop (STW) is set to stage Miracle On South Division Street starting this Wednesday at the Studio Theatre located at 121 Pittsburgh Ave.

Full text of a release issued by STW follows:

'Miracle On South Division Street' by Tom Dudzick is presented at Sault Theatre Workshop’s Studio Theatre, 121 Pittsburgh Ave. from Dec. 1 to 5, 8 p.m. curtain except for the Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.

According to Algoma Health details Sault Theatre Workshop is allowed 50 per cent capacity at our theatre presentation with the new restrictions of Nov. 29.

There is confusion with some of the public because the publicity in all news media is focussed on “indoor social gatherings limited to 10.”

Our normal capacity at our Studio Theatre is 108, so 50 per cent would be 54. However, as an extra precaution for a safer presentation, our board of directors has decided to cut back further and declare a capacity of 30 patrons per performance. This will allow extra spacing. Since all attendees must show proof of double vaccination and provide contact information we feel we can present our play more safely.

The cast and crew have spent two months of rehearsal on this heart warming comedy and are ready to share that story with you. Please book early as the limited capacity will fill up fast.
