Sault included on upcoming Russell Peters comedy tour

Canadian comedian Russell Peters will make a stop in Sault Ste. Marie during his upcoming Act Your Age World Tour, states a news release issued today.

Tickets for his July 6 performance at the GFL Memorial Gardens go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.

“After four years away, Russell Peters returns to his home and native land with his Act Your Age World Tour,” the release states.

“Russell Peters has been awarded a Gemini, Peabody, Emmy and Canadian Screen Award. He was also the first comedian to have a comedy special on Netflix.”

Peters last performed in Sault Ste. Marie in June of 2018 as part of the inaugural WTF Comedy Festival. Other Ontario dates on his upcoming tour include Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Kingston and London.
