Sault College Outback Idol runner up to perform at the Downbeat

The Downbeat Lounge (740 Queen St. E.) proudly presents Tim Ronan this Thursday, March 17th at 10:30 pm. Ronan was runner-up in last fall's Sault College's Outback Idol competition.

The Downbeat Lounge (740 Queen St. E.) proudly presents Tim Ronan this Thursday, March 17th at 10:30 pm.

Ronan was runner-up in last fall's Sault College's Outback Idol competition. As with many of the Idol competitions across the country, placing number one isn't always an indication of talent or level of success. Case in point, Ronan, who came in second, was one of the few contestants who consistently performed with an instrument and could hold his own without a backing track. He regularly showed off his talents by performing renditions of songs by artists like Radiohead, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and much more. Ronan's good rapport with his audience and strong voice are sure to be a success with music fans of all types.
