Below is an excerpt from a news release issued today:

Joseph Kargi, pianist and singer-songwriter, returning to play his hometown for the first time since 2015, is set to perform at a benefit concert fueled by a deeply personal mission. Inspired by his close friend Karin Beith’s courageous battle with terminal breast cancer, Joseph aims to alleviate some of the financial burden weighing on her and her family. As a single mother, foster parent, and devoted pet owner that has been unable to work due to the severity of her diagnosis and treatment, Karin's resilience in the face of adversity serves as the driving force behind this event. Through the power of music and community support, this concert seeks to raise funds to ease the stress of medical and travel expenses whilst providing much-needed assistance during this challenging time.
