Top three finalists announced in Jazz Sudbury online talent search

SUDBURY - Who will be this year’s winner of the Jazz Sudbury Festival online talent search?

Now that our online voting process is complete we are happy to announce our top three finalists!

A Jazz Sudbury panel of judges made up of performers at this year’s festival (Rita Chiarelli, Rich Underhill, Christine Tassan and Sarah Craig) selected, due to a tie, our top four finalists from all of this year’s submissions. 

Those four have been narrowed down to three by the voting public.

The finalists are: Only Four Hours (Sault Ste Marie), Ricky Stone (Sudbury) and Chelsea Fournier (Sudbury).

All three finalists will be performing at the Jazz Sudbury festival mainstage on Friday September 9 at 5 p.m. 

After the performances, the online talent search winner will be announced. 

The winner receives $500 and the Sigy Born Jazz Award, named in honour of one of Sudbury’s jazz pioneers.

Members of the public can now go to the Jazz Sudbury Festival website (www.jazzsudbury.ca) to see our top three finalists.
