To help kick off the holiday season, SooToday will live stream this year's Rotary Santa Claus Parade starting at 6 p.m.

The following is a news release issued today by the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie regarding this year's festivities:

Snowflakes and flurries can only mean one thing – Santa is on his way! Mr. Claus will make his annual appearance in the Rotary Santa Claus Parade this Saturday, Nov. 17.

“The boss has made it clear that our top priority is making sure every child can enjoy the parade,” shared chief elf officer, Phillip Navidad. “That’s why our Elfonomics department will be implementing the Sensory Friendly Block between Bruce Street and Dennis Street, with no air horns, sirens, or honking.”

The parade will begin at the corner of Pim Street and Queen Street East at 6 p.m. and then proceed West down Queen Street to Gore Street.

Please keep in mind that the parade will affect traffic. Street closures can be found here.
