RBC Financial Group heats up for healthcare

There won't be any cold cash available at the Royal Bank Branches this week in the Sault and surrounding area.

RBC Financial Group branches have decorated their branches with a Mexican theme to heat things up and to prepare for the judging of the best-decorated branch for the Annual Sault Area Hospital Foundation Chilifest.

The judging takes place this Thursday and the branches are anxiously awaiting the results to see who will take home the big prize and bragging rights.

Stop by your closest branch and see who is hot and who is not!

RBC Financial Group has generously agreed to be the overall sponsor, for their second consecutive year, of this annual event in support of the foundation and the purchase of medical equipment.

The event runs from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Roberta Bondar Pavilion and there's a lot of activities for children, in addition to on-stage entertainment, a beer garden and of course all of your favourite restaurants serving up their best chili.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children (5 and over)
