SHOT IN THE DARK PRODUCTIONS

Shot in the Dark’s Tommy is ready to rock the Machine Shop this week

Great music, killer talent and an awesome venue, plus a flying pinball machine, three video screens, and the kind of sparklers and smoke bombs you’d see at a major rock show.

That’s only a slice of what’s in store for audiences as they experience a show like Sault Ste. Marie has never seen before with Shot in the Dark Productions’ Tommy – taking the stage at the Mill Square Machine Shop this week.

Set to the music of one of the biggest Who albums of all time (and featuring the classic tune, Pinball Wizard), Tommy is the story of a boy who shuts down after witnessing physical abuse inflicted on a loved one.

Traumatized, Tommy becomes deaf, dumb and blind but a game of pinball changes Tommy’s world forever.

Tommy will only hit the stage for four performances, so don’t miss it on November 4, 5, 7 and 8.

All tickets are general admission, but seats are limited and selling fast.

Get yours at the Community Theatre Box Office in the Station Mall.

Adults are $35 and seniors/students/groups of 10+ are $30 each.

Tickets will also be sold at the door for that night’s performance (including $20 student rush tickets – must show a valid student ID), but only if seats are still available!

The November 4 performance (opening night) will start at 6 p.m. with a charity gala in partnership with our local Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA – an agency of the United Way).

Gala tickets are $60 each and include appetizers by Rosetta Sicoli (of the Iron Club), a drink ticket, admission to that night’s performance of Tommy at 8 p.m. and a $20 tax receipt from CMHA.

For gala tickets, please contact Marion Widgett at [email protected] by Tuesday, November 3.
