With Verizon Wireless’ exclusive new V CAST Song ID, you can now hear a song, hold the phone toward the music so it can identify the music, and purchase a full-track song, Ringtone or Ringback tone – all right over-the-air from your phone.

Customers only need a V CAST Music-enabled phone to start identifying songs playing from any music source.

V CAST Song ID and V CAST Music Facts

V CAST Song ID is available as a free download initially on select V CAST Music-enabled phones, including Chocolate by LG, The enV by LG, the LG VX8700 and VX9400 and Samsung SCH-u620.

Verizon Wireless customers who downloaded the previous version of Song ID to their phones will need to remove that version from their handsets prior to downloading the free upgraded version of V CAST Song ID.

After a song has been identified, customers can purchase available Ringtones, Ringback tones and full-track songs over-the-air with a click of the keypad.

V CAST Song ID can identify more than four million songs from every genre, from the latest chart toppers to ‘80s rock classics.

Nearly 95 percent of all full songs bought by V CAST Music customers have been over-the-air.

With V CAST Music, Verizon Wireless customers have three great ways to call their music:

- Synch existing digital music to the phone or microSD card for FREE

- Buy songs at the V CAST Music store on the PC for 99 cents per song

- Buy songs at the V CAST Music store on the phone, over-the-air – get two copies of the song for just $1.99

More than 1.9 million songs are now available in the V CAST Music catalog.

If you were to play all of the songs available from V CAST Music only once, you could listen to music 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for more than 10 years.
