Full Sail graduates take it Real2Reel

Winter Park, FL - September 17, 2006 - Full Sail Recording Arts graduates, Lamar Lawshe, Jessica Lore, Jessica Torres and Alphonso Parra are the creators of Real2Reels.com, an extraordinary website dedicated to connecting professionals in the entertainment industry.

Each of the students graduated from Full Sail's Recording Arts Program in September 2006 and will now be pursuing an entertainment business bachelor's degree.

During their time at Full Sail, the team realized that there was a need for a central location for those in the entertainment fields to make valuable contacts.

The site follows a similar theory such as MySpace.com, however, Real2Reels.com will remain unique by not including or promoting any additional social elements and maintaining a focus on networking.

The new site allows members to create profiles, post their personal work, and connect with others in the media industry.

Real2Reels.com targets professionals in the fields of:

- animation

- audio

- entertainment business

- digital media,

- fashion

- film

- performing arts

- traditional arts

"At Real 2 Reels, we believe that the media arts make the world – well at least make it better. We also know that education is a powerful thing. In fact, it will empower or equip one with the tools that will help them to achieve their dreams,” said Lamar Lawshe, CEO of Real 2 Reels.

The group then created MEET (Multimedia Education Empowerment Tour), a nonprofit organization that was started with the intent to provide financial assistance to those seeking an education in the media arts.

The team is also taking their corporation one step farther.

Real2Reels.com, in conjunction with MEET, will be hosting the event, BE XPOSED on September 17 at Lake Eola Amphitheatre in Orlando, FL from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

BE XPOSED is a free multimedia-networking event that will welcome some of the biggest names in the entertainment media industry including: Animation Magazine, Atlantic Records, G-Unit Records, Guitar Center, Interscope, Sony BMG and Trans Con.

"It is great to see Full Sail students finding innovative ways to network with other students, alumni and business professionals," said Bill Smith, program director for recording arts. "Full Sail is extremely proud of these students and their remarkable efforts. It is a perfect example of our student's ability to take their education and apply it directly to the real world, just as we train them to do."

Since 1979, Full Sail Real World Education, a college outside of Orlando, FL, has been an innovative educational leader for those pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.

With over 23,000 alumni, graduate credits include work on Oscar and GRAMMY-winning projects, best-selling video games, and the #1 grossing world tour six out of the last six years.
