Christopher Gardner inspires America's #1 movie

ARLINGTON, Va. - Christopher Gardner, the inspiration for the nation’s number-one movie The Pursuit of Happyness is currently available for speeches and personal appearances exclusively through Keppler Speakers.

Gardner, who is portrayed by Will Smith in a critically-acclaimed performance, has become an inspiration to audiences worldwide.

Gardner's journey took him from homelessness to success without his ever losing sight of the importance of taking care of his young son.

Inspired by a stockbroker he saw driving a Ferrari, Gardner decided to pursue an internship in the brokerage industry to achieve the kind of success he saw around him.

After being accepted into an unpaid training program, he faced innumerable struggles supporting himself and his son, relying on homeless shelters and charity to survive.

At his lowest, he and his son were forced to spend the night in a subway restroom.

Through it all, he kept his faith in himself, and showed his son that he would always be there for him.

Jim Keppler, president of Keppler Speakers, notes that, "It is a rare when a personality emerges that everyone can turn to for inspiration. The feedback on Gardner’s speeches this year has been phenomenal and the release of this movie will no doubt make him America's most in-demand speaker."

The persistence and optimism displayed by Gardner throughout his difficult journey to success are characteristics that inspire many today.

He shows audiences that commitment to yourself and others results in tremendous rewards, and he offers insight to people from all walks of life.

Founded in 1983, Keppler Speakers is the world's leading provider of high-impact inspirational speakers.

In addition to Gardner, the firm also represents Cal Ripken Jr., Soledad O'Brien, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Captain Jim Lovell (hero of Apollo 13), and Frank Abagnale, subject of the 2002 film Catch Me If You Can.
