The Superior Heights OnStage Musical Theatre Program will be hosting a unique event to raise funds for its upcoming production of Spamalot.

On Nov. 15 the students will be hosting a Medieval Times Dinner and Trivia Fundraiser in the Superior Heights Cafeteria.

“The menu for the evening has been meticulously curated to match the medieval theme and tantalize your taste buds,” the theatre program said in a news release.

“This delectable feast will transport you to the heart of a medieval banquet, featuring hearty and flavourful dishes that will delight both the palate and the senses.”

That will be followed by a trivia competition focused on Monty Python and history topics.

Medieval Times Dinner and Trivia Fundraiser to Support Superior Heights OnStage Musical Theatre Program's Production of Spamalot

Superior Heights OnStage is proud to announce an exciting and entertaining fundraising event that is sure to transport attendees back to the olden days of Camelot. The Medieval Times Dinner and Trivia Fundraiser will take place on Wednesday November 15th at 6:00 PM in the Superior Heights Cafeteria. It promises to be an evening filled with medieval merriment and mirth.

This event aims to raise funds to support the school's musical theatre program as they prepare to bring the hilarious and iconic Spamalot to the stage. Based on the legendary comedy of Monty Python, Spamalot is a production that will leave audiences in stitches, and this fundraiser will help make it all possible.

The menu for the evening has been meticulously curated to match the medieval theme and tantalize your taste buds:

  • Loafs of sourdough bread
  • Assorted harvest vegetables with homemade hummus
  • Medieval stuffed devilled eggs
  • Roasted quarter chicken and potatoes with rosemary, thyme, and garlic
  • Cheesy Macrows mac and cheese
  • Garden honey glazed carrots and beans
  • Honey apple bread pudding
  • Coffee/punch

This delectable feast will transport you to the heart of a medieval banquet, featuring hearty and flavourful dishes that will delight both the palate and the senses.

But the fun doesn't stop at the dinner table! As part of the entertainment for the evening, we are pleased to introduce a trivia competition that will challenge your knowledge of Monty Python and history topics. Prizes and bragging rights await the cleverest of knights and ladies in attendance.

Come in your finest medieval attire or casual wear and be ready to enjoy an evening of laughter, delicious food, and a unique trivia experience. This event is not only an opportunity to have fun but also a way to support the talented students of Superior Heights C&VS as they prepare to bring the laughter of Spamalot to life on the stage.

Entry is $30 for adults and seniors or $20 for students and children. If you are unable to attend but would like to help make a donation for the cause, a dinner-less “support” ticket is also available for $20.
