Local celebrities cut a rug for ARCH

The Sault Star and the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) are pleased to present the first-ever Dancing with the Sault Stars talent showcase at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2008.

Hosted by Tim Murphy, the show will include two dance numbers each from the Davey Dance Company, Sherry Walsh Dance/Rugcutterz, Soo Dance Unlimited, Danz Artz and Studio Dance Arts.

Local celebrities Vicky Chiapetta, Byron Bobbie, Finola Fagan, Sasha Jurko, Donna Hilsinger, Pat and Sherie Gladu, Gerry Tomie and many others will don their Sunday best, shine up their dancing shoes and show the Sault they too can dominate the dance floor.

Numbers representing the Ukraine, First Nations and Scotland will also be featured, as well as belly dancing from Katie Campbell.

Tickets for this event, currently on sale at the Community Theatre Box Office in the Station Mall, are $25 per person.

All proceeds go to support ARCH.
