Local band, BrianT & The Sinister Hearts will make their on-stage debut at the Marconi Cultural Event Centre on April 8 after releasing a number of original songs over the last few months, states a news release issued by the band.

Fronted by Brian Tremblay, the band includes Scott McLurg on drums, Robert Brown on bass and Lynn Eckroth on backing and lead vocals.

Too Many Kings (And Only One Crown), the band’s newest single, was recorded at Mike Severin’s Muzicare North Studios in Sault Ste. Marie and can be heard on all music streaming services.

“It’s my statement – or jab depending on how look at it – on pop music, pop stars and the music business,” Tremblay says in the release.

Attendees at the April 8 performance will hear mostly original material mixed with a few cover songs. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the show are $20 in advance or $25 at the door and are available online or by calling the Marconi Cultural Event Centre at 705-942-5577.
