KORAH MUSICAL THEATRE

Korah Musical Theatre proudly presents Disney’s Aladdin Jr!

The production runs from Wednesday, February 17 until Sunday, February 21, 2016.

From the stunning set and costumes, to the colourful lights and special effects, eye-catching dance moves, and show-stopping songs, everybody is very busy creating the musical masterpiece of the year in Sault Ste. Marie.

This year Korah has an all-star production team featuring director Denine Williams (Phantom of the Opera, Guys and Dolls), producer Liisa Steinwedel (Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast), set and props by Ian Ganton (Mary Poppins, Phantom of the Opera), stage management by Elizabeth Moran (Phantom of the Opera), costumes by Maarit Steinwedel (Cats, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), and many more.

One of Korah Musical Theatre’s greatest ventures this year is a cultural fundraiser night on Friday, February 19. Chef Dessaghen Rungasamy of Mauritius is bringing a taste of the Middle East to the Sault by catering a traditional Middle-Eastern fusion dinner combining all the favourite flavours of the Middle-East.

The menu features 11 different items as a tasting, including tandoori chicken, halim (lamb) soup, and nine other sample dishes (including non-spicy, nut free, gluten free, and vegan options).

Dinner before the show will feature a cultural “show-before-the-show” with Indian and Mauritian authentic dance performances in the festively decorated Korah cafeteria.

Disney’s Aladdin Jr. follows the story of the street rat’s journey to win the heart of Princess Jasmine with the help of his new unlikely friend: Genie.

We see the classic colourful and comedic characters such as Jafar, the Sultan, Iago, and more!

Korah’s professional take on the production make this the spectacle of the year in Sault Ste. Marie and a bunch of fun for ALL ages!

Tickets are already selling quickly - the dinner and show is more than two thirds sold out already!

Tickets can be purchased at the Korah office or through the Community Box Office (online at kctc.ca).

Tickets are $20 for adults and only $10 for students and seniors, with the Dinner and a Show tickets only $40 for the experience, and $20 for students and seniors.
